"Creating a sense of belonging for all"
We are a child and young person centred company, who provide a range of services that offer support, mentoring and education. Based in the heart of the BCP area our commitment to you is that every decision we make will place the child or young person front and centre.
Our mission & values
Our Mission is to meet an individual’s social, emotional, educational and independence needs. BFC enables children and young people to have a sense of belonging through community engagement, tuition, key work sessions and providing high quality and individualised support.
At BFC we pride ourselves on offering inclusivity and putting those we support at the centre of our thinking and practice to optimise the potential for positive outcomes. We believe our services should consistently and persistently demonstrate our values and build strong relationships with young people and their families. We want our children and young people to know that they are held in the forefront of our mind whilst on their journey with us, and beyond.
We believe our core purpose is fuelled by the values and ethos we promote at BFC. We believe we create environments where all individuals, regardless of their background, identity, or ability, feel valued and respected. We build a sense of connection and shared identity that binds individuals together, creating a collective bond based on our common interests, values, or experiences. We believe we create and maintain environments where individuals feel protected from harm, both physically and emotionally.

inclusive
Inclusivity goes beyond simply acknowledging differences; it involves actively embracing diversity and ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate, contribute and grow. At BFC, people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds are not only welcomed but also empowered to bring their full selves to the table.
Inclusivity fosters a culture of belonging, where different perspectives are celebrated, and barriers to participation are dismantled.
safe
Safety is not just about avoiding immediate threats, it’s also about ensuring that people can express themselves without fear of judgment or discrimination.
In a safe environment, trust is key, and individuals are empowered to take care of their well-being while respecting the well-being of others. Safety is essential to personal growth and peace of mind, as it provides the foundation for people to live confidently and independently.
